World Vision is an organization which provides clean drinking water to impoverished people in Africa and Haiti. On January 15, 2012 there is a half
marathon in Los Angeles benefitting World Vision and GreenGeeks will be running to raise funds for World Vision.
GreenGeeks started the donation to this cause with a $1,000 contribution to the GreenGeeks race team and we will match 10% (up to $5,000) for any outside contributions to our team.

2011 Q4 Pledge: Habitat For Humanity
Too many people live in poverty in this world and often times without adequate shelter. Habitat for Humanity International was founded in 1976 to provide shelter and housing
to those in need. GreenGeeks is proud to be able to contribute our Q4 2011 commitment to their worthy cause in the hope of providing shelter to those in need.

2011 Q3 Pledge: Los Angeles Regional Food Bank
Every year tens of thousands of impoverished families rely on the Los Angeles food bank for their holiday meals. This year GreenGeeks contributed 4000 Thanksgiving day meals to those in need. We are very thankful that we are able to help contribute to making their lives more enjoyable during this holiday season.
2011 Q2 Pledge. - St Jude Children's Cancer Research Institute:
Since 1962 St Jude's research hospital for children with cancer has been treating and giving hope to some of the youngest patients afflicted with cancer and their families. St Jude's is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. 2011 Q1 Pledge. - Disaster relief for Japan:
The disaster in Japan resulting from the earthquake on March 11th and the resulting Tsunami has left over 10,000 dead or missing and hundreds of thousands of people homeless, and without ample food clothing or shelter.
Through the American Red Cross we have donated a portion of our 1st quarter revenue to the relief efforts in Japan. To learn more about how you can donate to the relief efforts in Japan please click here

Haiti Relief:
In 2010 we pledged to give a $1 donation for every new customer to the American Red Cross Disaster and Relief efforts in the earthquake ravaged island of Haiti. Please see GreenGeeks Haiti Relief efforts.
American Lung Association - Fight For Clean Air:
In 2010 we made a commitment to sponsor an event with the American Lung Association to bring air quality awareness to our communities. We are again sponsoring this event in 2011. Please see GreenGeeks Fight For Air climb.
