GreenGeeks Support will need to make changes to your web sites' DNS
setting for "MX entries" that have the same priority, "A record"s or
"CName"s. MX records that each have different priorities can be changed
inside the Control Panle by selecting the MX Entry icon.
You must request DNS changes by submitting a ticket through the Help
Center. To ensure quicker processing, please include your control panel
password in the ticket.
Here are some examples of different DNS records:
CName: blog.mydomainname.com --> ghs.google.com
A record: others.yourdomain.com --> 72.181.55.10 (pointed to an IP address)
MX Entries: mydomainname.com --> 5 ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
MX Entries: mydomainname.com --> 5 ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM
Attn: Our servers do not support Reverse DNS Lookup. This means
that Reverse DNS Lookups do not resolve to the domain name, but
instead to the server that the hosting account is on.
We do enter TXT entries and PTR entries to help with SPF records when sending email.
