What should my FTP settings be for my addon domain?

The easiest way to upload to your addon domain is to use your cPanel username/password login credentials as your FTP login/password. The hostname can be your main domain name or our server name (looks like server##.websitehostserver.net).

The directory you upload to is /public_html/addon-domain-directory

* Replace "addon-domain-directory" with the directory that you created for the addon domain, when creating the addon domain.

Alternatively, you can create additional FTP accounts and use that in place of the main FTP username/password and ensure that you upload to the directory "/" so long as you've already set the document root folder to the addon domain folder when creating the FTP account.
