What’s a VPS and what can I do with it?
VPS stands for Virtual Private Server, which is basically a dedicated slice of a server. You can start, stop, re-install and configure your VPS without affecting other VPS’s on the server. VPS is best for installing custom software, sending e-mails without max send out limits, live streaming media, custom configurations, etc.
Do I get backups? How often?
Yes, we create nightly backups with the use of R1Soft. This is used as a disaster recovery measure to ensure that if there is an issue on the hardware node, we are able to restore service without complete data loss.
Is there a server processes limit?
No, because this is a dedicated environment to you, you are able to use 100% of the resources assigned to you.
Can I order Dedicated IP addresses?
Yes, you will need to open a ticket from within your Account Manager with this request. Dedicated IP’s are ordered in blocks of 5.
Do I get RV Site Builder with VPS?
No. You will have to license this on your own. You can do this by going to http://www.rvsitebuilder.com

Do I get a free billing system?
Yes, we provide you with a free license of ClientExec. You can request this by opening a ticket from within your Account Manager

How can I upgrade my VPS plan?

If another VPS customer gets their IP blacklisted, is everyone else on the server blacklisted?
No, you will not be blacklisted because of another user. IP Addresses are VPS specific and you are the only one that can use them.
Can I request reboots?
You can control your VPS right from the VPS Control Panel. This will allow you to start, stop, restart, re-install and more. You will receive account login for the VPS control panel when signing up.
