Enable or Disable Parked (Alias) Domain Redirection

Note that older versions of cPanel used the term, “Parked Domains” rather than “Aliases.” Functionally they are the same thing. Only the name has changed.

Log in to GreenGeeks and go to cPanel by clicking the “cPanel Login” button in the “Quick Server Login” section.

In the “DOMAINS” section, click the “Aliases” link or icon.

Click the “Manage Redirection” link corresponding to the Alias domain you wish to manage.

Enter the URL that you would like the Alias domain to redirect to in the “The Alias…redirects to:” field.

Click the Save button.

To Disable an Alias Domain Redirect

  • Log in to GreenGeeks and go to cPanel by clicking the “cPanel Login” button in the “Quick Server Login” section.
  • In the “DOMAINS” section, click the “Aliases” link or icon.
  • Click the “Manage Redirection” link corresponding to the Alias domain you wish to manage.
  • Click the “Disable Redirection” button.
