Wordcamp Europe 2026

GreenGeeks Is Heading to WordCamp Europe 2026 in Kraków

Our team will be attending WordCamp Europe 2026 in Kraków, Poland!

WordCamp Europe brings together one of the largest WordPress communities in the world. From June 4 to June 6, 2026, WordPress users, developers, designers, marketers, entrepreneurs, agencies, contributors, and creators will gather at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre for three days of learning, connection, contribution, and community.

For anyone involved with WordPress, this event matters. It gives people a chance to meet in person, trade ideas, learn from each other, and spend time with the people behind the websites, plugins, themes, agencies, tools, and businesses that power so much of the web.

What WordCamp Europe Is About

WordCamp Europe 2026 will bring 3,000+ attendees to Kraków and feature 50+ talks and workshops, along with sponsor activities, networking, side events, Contributor Day, and community gatherings.

The event begins on June 4 with Contributor Day, when new and experienced contributors come together to help the WordPress project. You do not need to be a developer to take part. People contribute through documentation, translations, design, support, testing, accessibility, marketing, community work, and more.

The main conference runs on June 5 and June 6, with sessions, workshops, sponsor booths, hallway conversations, and plenty of chances to meet others in the WordPress ecosystem.

Why Our Team Will Be There

WordPress plays a major role in the GreenGeeks story. We host WordPress websites for small businesses, agencies, developers, bloggers, ecommerce stores, nonprofits, and creators around the world.

For me, WordCamp Europe is about the people.

I’m looking forward to meeting WordPress users, developers, agencies, freelancers, contributors, and community members face to face. These events remind me how much care goes into the WordPress ecosystem. Every site, plugin, theme, business, and agency starts with someone building something that matters to them.

Our team will be there to connect, listen, learn, and enjoy time with the community. If you see us at the event, please come say hello. We would love to hear what you are working on, what you are trying to solve, and what you are excited about in WordPress.

About the Venue

WordCamp Europe 2026 will take place at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre, located at Marii Konopnickiej 17, 30-302 Kraków, Poland.

ICE Kraków opened in 2014 and offers a modern conference setting close to the Vistula River. The venue is near the Grunwaldzki Bridge and about a 15-minute walk from Kraków’s Main Market Square.

Getting there should be straightforward for attendees. The Rondo Grunwaldzkie transit hub is nearby, with tram access close to the venue. Once attendees receive their WordCamp badge, public transit in Kraków will be free during the event.

Kraków as the Host City

Kraków gives WordCamp Europe a memorable setting. The city has historic streets, great food, coffee shops, architecture, culture, and plenty of places to explore between sessions.

The venue places attendees near the Vistula River and within walking distance of the city center, making it easy to turn conference days into full community days. Coffee before a session, a walk after lunch, dinner with new contacts, and evening meetups can all become part of the trip.

For many attendees, the city will be part of the reason this WordCamp stays memorable long after the sessions end.

Why Events Like This Matter

WordPress grows because people keep showing up for it. They build, teach, test, translate, document, design, organize, support, and share what they know.

WordCamp Europe gives that work a physical meeting place. It brings the online WordPress community into one city for a few days and creates space for real conversations.

Some attendees will come for technical sessions. Some will come to meet partners or customers. Some will come to contribute. Some will come because WordPress has been part of their career or business for years.

That mix is what makes WordCamp Europe special.
